Start with the original seller. Eligible direct bookings can be changed through Aer Lingus Manage Trip. Airline rules allow changes up to two hours before departure, subject to eligibility, availability and applicable charges.

Before changing an Aer Lingus flight
Find the confirmation email and identify the seller, operating carrier and fare type. Write down the flight you want to change and the replacement dates you can accept. If only one person in a shared reservation needs to move, clarify that before approving any action.
Understand the price of a change
Ask for the fare difference, any airline change charge, and any agency service fee separately. Also ask what happens to bags, seats and other extras. A fee waiver does not necessarily remove a fare difference. Compare the total change quote with your practical alternatives before deciding.
When the online route does not fit
Aer Lingus lists group bookings and itineraries involving other airlines as cases requiring contact support. If a travel agent issued your ticket, ask that agent to service it. An unavailable online button is not, by itself, proof that a ticket cannot be changed.
After the change
Keep the revised confirmation and check every passenger, date, airport and flight. Review your seat and bag selections again. If you already checked in, confirm whether you need a new boarding pass. Do not travel using a screenshot of the old itinerary.
